What we collect
We collect only what we need to sell you a saree and ship it to you:
- Account info — email, name, phone (if you sign in with phone)
- Orders — items purchased, prices, payment status, shipping address
- Payment — handled entirely by Razorpay; we never see or store your card or UPI details
- Try-on uploads — if you use the virtual try-on, we store your uploaded photo and the generated result in private storage tied to your account
- Cookies — a session cookie for cart and login; no advertising trackers
How we use it
- To process and ship your orders
- To send order updates (email or WhatsApp, depending on your preference)
- To generate GST-compliant invoices
- To improve the website (basic, anonymised usage patterns — we don't sell or share this)
What we share, and with whom
We share data only with the third parties needed to fulfil your order:
- Razorpay — to process payments. Their privacy policy applies to that step.
- Couriers — name, address, and phone for delivery (only when you place an order).
- Replicate / Gemini — for the virtual try-on feature, your uploaded image and the chosen product image are sent to the model provider. The result is returned to your account and not retained on their side beyond the prediction window.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising. We do not allow third parties to track you across other sites from ours.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as required under Indian tax law (currently eight years for GST records). Account info is kept while your account is active; you can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You can:
- Access the data we hold on you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete your account and personal data (subject to legal retention obligations on order records)
- Export your data in a machine-readable format

Security
Authentication and storage are handled by Supabase. Payments are handled by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Our site uses HTTPS throughout. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow standard practices and store no payment details on our servers.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If you disable cookies, you can still browse but won't be able to sign in or check out.
Children
The site is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email if you have an account, and the “last updated” date above will always reflect the latest version.
