Most of our sarees ship at the following standard dimensions, with a few exceptions called out on individual product pages:
- Saree length: 5.5 metres (the “saree” portion you drape)
- Blouse piece: 0.8 metres (an additional running blouse fabric attached to the saree, ready to be tailored)
- Total length: 6.3 metres
- Width: 44-46 inches, depending on the weave
Blouse fittings (when sold as ready-to-wear)
Where we sell ready-stitched blouses, the size chart on the product page lists exact bust, waist, and shoulder measurements. Our blouses run true to standard Indian sizing (XS-2XL).
Standard blouse measurements (in inches)
- XS: Bust 32 / Waist 26
- S: Bust 34 / Waist 28
- M: Bust 36 / Waist 30
- L: Bust 38 / Waist 32
- XL: Bust 40 / Waist 34
- 2XL: Bust 42 / Waist 36
How to measure yourself for a blouse
- Bust: Wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level and snug, not tight.
- Waist: Around the smallest part of your natural waist, just above the navel.
- Shoulder: From the edge of one shoulder seam to the other across the back.
If you're between two sizes, go up. Most blouses can be taken in by your tailor; very few can be let out beyond their seam allowance.
Dupattas
Dupatta dimensions vary by style — typically 2.25 to 2.5 metres in length and 36-40 inches wide. The exact dimensions are on each product page.
